Homestyle Gathering is your weekly homekeeping destination! Let’s get inspired!

Welcome back to Homestyle Gathering! Are you ready to see this week’s fabulous features? I had a great time visiting the links from last week’s party, and I always look forward to sharing your features!

If you are a reader get ready to be inspired by some great inspiration and meet some new bloggers.

Sit back and enjoy!

Here’s what I’ve been up to:

Serving Up Southern

Homemade Popsicles || Serving Up Southern

Enjoy these features from last week’s party!

Neutral and Gray Living Room Makeover || It All Started With Paint

Linda shares how she went about transforming her living room from a dark navy to a neutral gray, and I must say the difference is amazing! The room was beautiful both ways, but I love the updated lighter and brighter version.

No Sew Framed American Flag Decor || Across the Boulevard

Beverly made this lovely framed Americana flag in an unexpected way. At first glance I thought it was painted. Boy, did she have me fooled! Follow her great tutorial to see how you can make one too!

How to Make an Easy Faux Boxwood Wreath for Under $10 || Unfolding Wonderful

Candace shows us how she made this pretty boxwood wreath. I love how the grapevine peeks out in places. Boxwood is a classic way to add a little greenery indoors. She makes it look easy to do in her tutorial.

Step by Step Hanging Baskets || Kippi at Home

Kippi takes us for a stroll to see the hanging baskets throughout her garden. The baskets are beautiful, but I’ve also fallen in love with her fantastic arbor. Simple pleasures like these hanging baskets are a big reason I love this time of year.

Gilligan’s Island Cocktail || The Kitchen is My Playground

I’m telling you – this is a fun post! Especially, if you’re a fan of Gilligan’s Island reruns (like me!). Tracey shares this recipe that she and her husband came across. Isn’t that drink dreamy looking? I can’t wait to sit on my back porch and sip on this!

I decided to do another bonus post this week! I was just having too much fun and didn’t want to stop!

So you’re asking yourself – another flag? Yep, I love them both, and I think you will too. Plus it’s that time of the year again…

DIY Rustic Light Up Pallet Flag || Tee Diddly Dee

Check out this light-up flag that Tiffany made! I love how she dry brushed it to give it more of a lightly stained look so that the wood still shows through. And each one of those starts light-up. This would be perfect on the porch or even a mantel during the patriotic holidays. She has a great tutorial you can follow!
