A Simple Easter Table Setting / Here’s an Easter table setting to give you ideas for a memorable Easter Sunday. It’s casual, simple and easy to do!
Can you believe Easter is only a couple of days away? I want to show you A Simple Easter Table Setting to give you an idea of a simple way to style your table. I know there are differing opinions on whether or not bunnies are the right choice for your holiday table, however, I think it truly depends on the mood you’re trying to create. This year our mood is simple and casual. So, bunnies it is!
My sweet friend, Joyce, invited me to her lovely home to set up an Easter tablescape. We had so much fun setting up the table. Then I took a gazillion photos of the finished product. It’s quaint, casual, and best of all simple.
We chose to do a 4 place setting using two runners across the width of the table. This gave the perfect place to set each place setting.
Joyce’s hubby had made her this cute wooden box, and it worked perfectly for holding 3 candles and 2 little bunnies. We faced the bunnies in opposite directions so that one would be facing each side of the table and tucked green Spanish moss around them. You could also use a cake stand or a platter to create a base for a vignette.
Making a statement on each end of the table are 2 hurricane vases filled with eggs and silver dollar eucalyptus. I put a slender cylinder vase inside each of the hurricane vases and then layered faux speckled eggs in between the two. Then I added the eucalyptus. It worked wonderfully for this Simple Easter Table setting and was so easy to put together!
We don’t have a Trader Joes near us so I had to order my (spotty) silver dollar eucalyptus from a local florist. I’m not sure what the spots are about nor did the florist. It was all they had since it was ordered for me so I went with it. I long to have a Trader Joes nearby. Wishful thinking, I know.
The blue-green glasses played well with the blue speckled eggs.
Aren’t the little bunny napkin holders adorable? I know my little granddaughters will love it when I use them on our Easter table at home. The blue-gray salad plates are from Pier 1 Imports and have quickly become a favorite. The color is gorgeous and the little ripples in them…perfection. The bunny ears, napkins, and eggs are also from Pier 1 Imports.
I love the way the eucalyptus spills out of the vases. Beautiful!
Having the vases on each end of the table and the lower vignette in the middle allows everyone to see each other during conversation.
On the round woven placemats, there was enough space to offset the plate just enough to make room for the glass at the top.
As you’ve looked at the pictures you may have caught a glimpse or two of the quilt hanging on the wall. Joyce quilted this amazing collage cow quilt. Her name is Abilene. Isn’t she a dandy?! She was a quiet onlooker as we did our thing, and she tried to steal the show more than once. ;) I thought all of my quilt-loving friends would like to see her.
I hope this Simple Easter Table Setting gives you some ideas for decorating your table this Easter Sunday. Whatever you do have fun with it and keep is stress-free. I hope you and your family have a lovely Easter!
