I know, I know! I just had to squeeze this recipe in before I go into full fall mode. Bananas are available year round, so technically it can be banana season too, right?

Make The Best Banana Nut Bread {With A Twist}?

By now you’re probably wondering what this twist is, so I’ll get straight to the point. It’s a yellow cake mix. Yep, and let me tell ya… it’s amazing! This recipe is super moist and really quick and easy to make since the cake mix takes the place of several other ingredients. If you have several bananas sitting around that have become overly ripe, this is a great way to use them up before they go bad.

I bake any and every kind of bread in my USA Loafs Pans. I have several of these, and I LOVE them. I even love how the signature ripples in the loaf pans transfer to the bread as it bakes. You can see the lines in the images above.

My Amazon Picks:

This banana nut bread also freezes really well. I made a couple of loaves and froze them to take on our vacation. It was a big hit with our morning coffee. I would love for you to try it and let me know what you think. I always love hearing from you in the comments!

This is great because my husband always wants me to buy bananas and he never finishes them before they start to go bad. Now I know what I can do with them in a pinch. Thanks!

Hi Kim! I love banana bread and actually just put some soft bananas into the freezer to bake into banana bread and banana chocolate chip muffins once our weather turns cool again.
