I hope you’ve had a wonderful week! I’ve been in full Christmas mode while planning for Thanksgiving – ha. I like having the house decorated for Christmas at Thanksgiving. I’ll have all the decor up except for the real tree. We’ll drive out to the Christmas tree farm and cut that one down the day after Thanksgiving.
I know it’s early, but it brings me joy, and our Thanksgiving guests seem to enjoy it. I get a two-for-one deal out of the decorations that way too. But, the best part is – when Thanksgiving is over, I can relax because the decorations are already up.

I am not much for putting up Christmas decorations before Thanksgiving. I like to have mine out a little longer into January when most people take them down.
We are having Thanksgiving in SC at one of Chris’ daughter’s house so no planning for me other than taking some homemade rolls!

Thanks for the party, Kim. I haven’t started decorating yet, but I’m busy crafting for Christmas. I plan on bringing out all of my decor including the trees the weekend prior to Thanksgiving this year. I agree with you that it’s great to have it done so that you can relax after Thanksgiving.
