Homestyle Gathering is your weekly homekeeping destination! A place where you can share inspiration, find inspiration and make new friends.

Hi friend! Welcome to Homestyle Gathering! I’m so glad you’re here!

I want to fill you in on what’s been going on with me and why I’ve been a little quiet around here. Well, I dislocated some ribs and haven’t been up to doing much, mainly from being in such terrible pain whenever I move. Keep in mind that breathing requires a certain amount of movement. And then you have the occasional cough or sneeze. Oh. My. Gosh! I cannot even describe the pain. Now, think about the chiropractor putting the ribs back where they belong. Yep, you get the picture.

Because of this, I haven’t been at the computer much, but I have managed to update a couple of posts, so my downtime hasn’t been a total waste. Anyway – enough about all that!

Let’s move on to the party!

Here’s what I’ve been up to:

    1. Hi Sandra!
I wish I had this cool story of how it happened, but honestly, it’s rather boring. I felt nothing when it happened and had no idea that I had hurt myself – 5 minutes later was a completely different story. Thanks for sharing at HG! Hope your week is going well.

Yes, those adjustments have been rough, especially the first couple of times. The poor chiropractor warned me of what was coming, and that it wasn’t going to be fun. Thanks for sharing at HG! I hope your week is going well!

Yes – you are SO right – the pain has been awful! I’m hoping to continue to get better, though. My sister and her family are coming next week, and we’re going to the lake for a day – we’ve rented a pontoon. That’s at the end of that week, so I’m hoping to be much improved by then – we’ll see! Thanks for sharing at HG. Have a wonderful rest of the week!
