Homestyle Gathering is your weekly homekeeping destination! A place where you can share inspiration, find inspiration and make new friends.

Hey there! Welcome to Homestyle Gathering! I’m so glad you’re here!

Last week, trunk or treating was postponed because of severe storms that passed through our area. The weathermen strongly advised everyone not to go out trick or treating and to stay indoors. So, we decided to get a head start and head to town for pizza with all the little grands dressed in their costumes.

I kind of thought we were crazy – our phones were sounding the alarms because of the severe weather and tornado watches that were in effect. It was SO windy! We didn’t quite beat the storms, which resulted in all of us driving home in some horrendous downpours and crazy wind, but we all made it back before the brunt of the storm hit.

Finally, on Saturday, we were all able to go trunk or treating and out for pizza again – the little people insisted! :)’

How did your week go? Hopefully, it was a little less eventful than ours.

If you missed last week’s party, you can find all the fabulous inspiration that was shared here.
