I hope you enjoy all of the inspiration, ideas, and recipes that you find through our Homestyle Gathering link party.

If you’re a blogger who links up, I want you to know I enjoy reading all your posts. I’ll be honest though; I didn’t get to them all this past week. Last Tuesday, my dad was in the hospital for his second knee replacement surgery. His first one went great, but this surgery ended in a life-threatening situation. It was the result of a reaction he had to a medication they used to bring him out of anesthesia. We dropped everything and took off on a three-hour trip that felt like six hours. Thankfully, he is okay! We’re home again now, and I’ll get caught up on my visits.

And now for this week’s features:Okay y’all… fair warning, I’m into pillows this week. And my first feature (of three!) is this lovely diy from Rita at Harbour Breeze. She not only shows us how to easily use a printable on a pillow, but offers a FREE printables library of graphics to choose from! Score!

This espresso cheesecake with raspberries from Marilyn’s Treats has been screaming at me for the past week. For this coffee-cheesecake-raspberry-lover, what’s NOT to love? #mouthwatering

Okay, gotta get my mind off the cheesecake, and Amber’s post at Follow the Yellow Brick Home is just the thing to do it. She shares all kinds of pillow love to refresh your home for spring!

We interrupt this, ahem, “pillow talk”, to bring you another lovely spring decor idea from Carrie at Curly Crafty Mom. She shows us how to add some lovely spring items to a tiered tray and shares a bit of her spring home, too!

And my last pillow feature for this week is the easy diy envelope pillow from Maria at Simple Nature Decor. It’s hard for me to pass up anything that is ‘understated’ coastal, and this pillow with the blue coral print is right up my waterway. (I know… I’m trying to be cute.) ;-)
