- 2 cups strawberries
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
Add ingredients to a saucepan and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
Pour syrup through a fine-mesh strainer being careful not to mash strawberries. I also line the sieve with cheesecloth in to ensure no particles get through.
Cool and transfer to a glass jar. Refrigerate for up to 1 month, or freeze for several months.
