Strawberry Simple Syrup

Make this easy Strawberry Simple Syrup with only 3-ingredients. It's perfect for a variety of cocktails, strawberry lemonade, and strawberry iced tea.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups strawberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water

Instructions
 

  • Add ingredients to a saucepan and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  • Pour syrup through a fine-mesh strainer being careful not to mash strawberries. I also line the sieve with cheesecloth in to ensure no particles get through.
  • Cool and transfer to a glass jar. Refrigerate for up to 1 month, or freeze for several months.
