Ingredients

  • 2 - 16 oz green beans drained
  • 4-5 slices bacon
  • 1/4 cup onion diced
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°. Add drained green beans to an 8X8 casserole dish and set aside.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until crisp, then add diced onions and cook until onions are translucet. Drain
  • Add ketchup, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce to bacon and onions and simmer for 2 - 3minutes. Pour sauce over green beans, but do not stir. Bake for 20 minutes. Enjoy!

Notes

Sometimes, I will use pre-cooked bacon to speed things up a bit. I still like to crisp it in the skillet, but it's a great time-saver.
