2cupsflax meal- wheat germ can be used if not making GF
1cuphoney
¾cupbrown sugar
1 ⅓ cupsoil- I use coconut oil
⅔cupbutter
¼cupwater
½tspsalt
2tspmaple extract
1tspvanilla
1cupcoconut, optional- shaved or shredded
Instructions
Measure out and combine dry ingredients in a large bowl. Mix together remaining wet ingredients and pour slowly over the dry ingredients while stirring. Bake at 300° for 30 minutes.
