Marinated Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 can Sweet peas Petite
  • 1 can White shoepeg corn
  • 1 can Green beans French-style
  • 1 bunch Green onions
  • 1 small jar Pimentos
  • 1 Green pepper
  • 1-2 stalks Celery

Marinade

  • 1/2 cup Vinegar (I use apple cider vinegar)
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Oil (I use olive oil)
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1-2 tsp ground coarse pepper

Instructions

  • Drain and rinse all canned items
  • In a saucepan, mix marinade ingredients together and bring to a boil.
  • Pour over the salad while hot.
  • Let stand overnight in the refrigerator.

Notes

This will keep up to two weeks in the refrigerator. The longer it stands the better it is.
